Welcome! There is nothing I love more than seeing a space function for the people living in it. Whether it’s a kitchen, a playroom, a closet or even a desktop, I believe that when our belongings have a thoughtful home, we make more room for the life we want to live.

Sorted Spruce is a product of a long time love of organizing and a desire to help others find organizational systems that work for them through a judgement free, consultative, process. Learn more about me in my “How I Became A Professional Organizer” blog post.

My Organizing Philosophies

  • 80/20

Ideally a storage space is made up of 80% thoughtfully organized items, with space for items to be easily accessed with room to grow.

  • If a space no longer works, change it.

Organizing is a thoughtful invest of time and easy to overthink. Instead, I try and determine how a space can serve life as it is, right now. As needs change, and they always do, so should the space.

  • Functional Ethical Design

Aesthetically pleasing, functional spaces are the goal of my organizational process. I also carefully consider the footprint of organizational solutions and seek to reuse, donate and dispose responsibly.
